Sphynx Tattoo Web Design & Development Project

Project Snapshot
This project shows how structured website design dublin Ireland work can turn a really bad website into a functioning business asset.
Sphynx Tattoo needed a site that looked like their studio and worked just as well. We delivered a mobile-first website with a dark, bold aesthetic. It loads fast, reflects the shop’s identity, and makes it easy for clients to check their work and get in touch.
Client Profile
- Business Name: Sphynx Tattoo Shop
- Business Type: Tattoo Studio
- Location: Dublin, Ireland
- Target Audience: Locals, visitors, and tattoo enthusiasts looking for high-quality custom work
- Main Goal: Build a proper website that felt like the studio itself. They wanted something clean, modern, and personal. Not a template.
- Their old site was a generic template that hadn’t been touched in years. On top of that, they had multiple paid services running at once, half of which didn’t serve any real purpose.
- Hosting was spread out across different platforms.
- Domains were disconnected.
When we stepped in, even the old site had been deleted mid-project by a previous developer. We had to build everything from scratch. Twice.
The site had
- no metadata
- no sitemap
- no indexing
Google couldn’t find them, and customers couldn’t either. While they had a Google Business Profile, there was no solid website behind it to support discovery or trust.
Strategic Plan
Website Strategy
We built the new site on WordPress.
We wanted it to feel like the studio, so we visited in person, took real photos, and used them throughout the design.
The layout focused on visuals, speed, and mobile-first functionality. Their Instagram feed was connected directly to the site, so they wouldn’t need to upload the same content twice.

SEO Strategy
This wasn’t a full SEO campaign. The goal was to get the basics right so the site could at least be found and indexed. We set up:
- SEO-friendly page structure
- Clean H1–H3 hierarchy
- Custom page titles and meta descriptions
- Internal linking across pages
- Sitemap submission and crawlability support
Work Delivered
- 5 custom-designed WordPress pages
- Instagram feed integration
- Mobile-first responsive design
- Fast-loading pages with minimal clutter
- Contact CTA and email form
- Visual styling to match the real-life studio vibe
Note: We built the entire site twice after the first version was lost. The final version gave the client full control, ownership, and long-term reliability.

Clean Navigation
We approached this website design project in Dublin, Ireland, like we were building a site for our own studio. Everything from the layout to the photography was based on what a real customer would want to see. We didn’t guess or overcomplicate things. Just clarity, focus, and execution that respected the client’s brand and goals.
If your current website doesn’t reflect what you do, or it’s not working at all, this is the kind of project that fixes it for good. We work best with businesses who care about quality and want long-term control.
